Give good stuff a second home.
For the pilot, neighbors will share photos of secondhand items and a starting bid. Think vintage finds, kids’ gear, tools, furniture, and plants.
Washington, DC · Upcoming manual pilot
We’re planning a Saturday-only, 24-hour neighborhood silent auction. Neighbors list secondhand items, bidders make private offers, and winners pick up their finds locally.
Starting with one DC neighborhood, coordinated by hand. The first neighborhood and auction date are still to be confirmed.
List. Make a private offer. Pick up.
A little suspense. A lot closer to home.
Same streets. Bigger finds.
A local experiment for neighbors with a closet to clear—or an eye for something worth bringing home.
The pilot plan
One neighborhood. One Saturday. A full 24 hours for private offers, followed by local pickup.
Small start. Neighborly spirit.
We’ll organize the first pilot manually to learn what works. This signup is an interest list; auction listings, bidding, payments, and automated winner reveals aren’t running on this site yet.

On auction Saturday, bidders will submit private offers during one 24-hour window. Other neighbors won’t see what you’ve offered.
After the auction closes, we’ll coordinate winners and sellers by hand. Winning items will be picked up locally at an agreed porch or public spot—no shipping.
Before the pilot, we’ll share the participation rules and pickup guidance. Signup doesn’t reserve a spot or confirm availability in your neighborhood.
